Karen Green is a business mentor, speaker and author of the best-selling book “Recipe for success – the ingredients of a profitable food business” which was shortlisted for the Business Book awards 2018.
She has over 30 years of experience of working in the food industry - both as a buyer for UK grocery retailers, Tesco and Boots, and commercial director for various food manufacturing businesses supplying UK retail and overseas. She is currently part time Managing Director of Cream & Country – the Quintessentially British ice cream brand and also mentors other food SME owners and entrepreneurs enabling them to grow their businesses through her business Food mentor.
She is a regular and respected keynote speaker at key grocery events and delivers workshops on various topics such as creating brand identity, successful negotiation and pitching to UK retailers for Nottingham University, Cywain and Enterprise Nation and also has her own training course – Pitch Perfect!
She is member of PWN Nice Cote d’Azur and Fellow of ISM (Institute of sales management)
