We are delighted to invite you to the first joint event of PWN Frankfurt and equality@Mercer BRG on the occasion of International Women's Day 2024.
The 'live event' with exciting guests will take place on 6 March in the Mercer Offices here in Frankfurt, at 6:00 pm (admission from 5:30 pm).

Both PWN and Mercer thrive on Gender Balanced Leadership, and helping women succeed in their careers, whatever that may look like for them. To do this, women have to have the courage to put their hands up and demand inclusion; but as humans we all need to become more aware of how we can help others to become and feel more included, as well.
Come prepared with questions, a panel discussion will follow these insights… insights which are sure to raise a few eyebrows and heartrates! Networking will follow, with bubbly drinks and delicious canapes, so we can begin to solve the world’s problems together, one step at a time.

"Inspire Inclusion- Inspire Yourself, Include Others!”
Evening’s speakers and discussion will take a deeper dive into this, step by step:
Step 1: Inspire Yourself - Don’t Self-Reject!
PWN Frankfurt President Alison Forrest will cover what we as women can do to overcome those “Fraudy Feelings” we can all have at work – hello Imposter Syndrome! – and make sure we are including ourselves at the table. Apply for that role, speak up in meetings, put your hand up, share your ideas, because your opinion matters, and you deserve to be heard and included.
Step 2: Include Others – It’s A Big World Out There!
Let’s take a look at what people are doing out in the real world to address this issue in the workplace. Theres Guntram from the Transformation Team at Mercer will deep dive into her experiences with their clients with real-life examples of what’s working (and what’s not!) and best practices in terms of programs, legislation and quotas.
Step 3: Inspire Inclusion – Management Matters!
We hear it so often – “But… no women applied for the role!” Mercer will delve into the concrete steps mangers and allies can take to help uplift women in the workplace and encourage them to step up and be noticed. Achim Lüder, Marsh McLennan CEO Germany, Northern/Central/Eastern Europe (former Mercer Chief People Officer) and Carsten Strube, Mercer Wealth Lead Pensions, will share their experience and management view.
