Career Opportunities and Advancement for a diverse population
EDHEC and PWN Nice Cote d'Azur have a strong partnership to encourage diversity working with their student club.
Since we are still unable to have in-person events, we decided to have a virtual event in the form of a panel discussion and workshop around the topic of realistic optimism around career opportunities and advancement for a diverse population.
We will explore the opportunities and blockers , asking, What are the challenges? How can companies be more inclusive and, How can individuals advance in their career when they don't "fit the mould"? What type of special coaching, sponsoring and mentoring is needed? Which tools and skills can help hiring organizations, executives and hiring managers as well as talent and recruiting departments?
The format of the one hour long meeting will be as follows:
- 20 minutes panel discussion
- 20 minutes breakout discussion with attendees divided into three groups, each group led by a panel discussion participant to explore what makes them optimistic about their career options and what could help?
- 20 minutes of findings discussions and general questions
