PWN Nice Round table Lunch - Why we have too few women leaders?

09 October 2023 12:00 CEST - 14:00 CEST Hôtel Villa la Tour

PWN is bringing back the round table format to discuss topics of interest for PWN fellows and learn, empower and motivate each other.

This month topic is  "Why we have too few women leaders? ».

We will be discussing around this topic following a TED talk of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg.

Let's start out by admitting we're lucky. We don't live in the world our mothers lived in, our grandmothers lived in, where career choices for women were so limited. And most of us grew up in a world where we have basic civil rights, and amazingly, we still live in a world where some women don't have them. Sheryl Sandberg looks at why a smaller percentage of women than men reach the top of their professions - and offers 3 powerful pieces of advice to women aiming for the C-suite.

The round-table lunch will be hosted by Carmen Redondo, Director of Global Marketing for Antennas at KYOCERA AVX. She has 15+ years of experience in antennas, having held different roles from engineering, project management to general management.

The location is the cozy restaurant at Hotel Villa La Tour in Nice old town.
The lunch package includes:
* Appetizer (served at the bar with one glass of wine
* Main course - fish or vegan,
* Light dessert
* Drinks (house wine and still or sparkling water)

We look forward to meeting with our Nice PWN fellows as well as anyone else who would like to join us.

Best Regards,

PWN Nice Board - Empowering Women
